Reflections on leaving San Francisco

It's been a little while since I was evicted from San Francisco after 30 years of dedication to public service and offering convenience to shoppers. My friends in the American Chemistry Council are doing what they can to prevent the eviction of my Bay Area cousins in Fairfax and Berkeley. San Francisco set a precedent that threatens my Bag Monster Family all over the world. One bad apple (San Francisco) spoils the barrel and now major cities like New York, Chicago, and London are considering similar policies that target my family. Can we stay under your kitchen sink???

My going away party in San Francisco was awesome!

Even my arch-nemeses Ross Mirakarimi and ChicoBag Girl showed up... (ChicoBag? More like ScumBag!) There was a fashion show starring my trashy friends, an open bar I used to soak my sorrows away (getting evicted can be upsetting!), and lots of free food (I left hungry, there weren't any marine animals for me to eat.) So, it turns out that although ChicoBag tried to make peace with me by sponsoring my going away party, they failed to mention that it would be a benefit for the Surfrider Foundation and the Haight Ashbury Neighborhood Council!

ChicoBag helped to raise over $1,000 for them:
With competition like ChicoBag, I can't win!!!

Plastic Bag Ban Bash

The Bag Monster is being evicted from San Francisco and if it asks to stay under your kitchen sink, just say NO.

Expect the Bag Monster to sulk through the event celebrating San Francisco’s Environmental Victory at the Plastic Bag Ban Bash November 20th!
